Sensitivity and Signal Level Indicator

► The red LEDs ndcate the devce's senstvty level as well as the

sgnal level when metal s detected n audo mode. You can adjust the

senstvty based on surroundng condtons and your preference

usng the up and down arrow keys. At maxmum senstvty, all red

LEDs wll lght up and at mnmum only a sngle LED wll llumnate.

► As mentoned above, when metal s detected n audo mode the

red LEDs wll provde vsual warnng by lghtng up accordng to the

strength of the sgnal receved from the metal.

Interference Elimination Button

► The devce s set for maxmum senstvty for the smallest objects.

Ths may cause the devce to produce sgnals when held close to a

oor wth metal constructon. You may enable the devce not to

respond to metals under the oor by pressng and holdng ths button.

When released, the devce wll go back to ts prevous senstvty level.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Internal Sensitivity Setting

► Some applcatons may requre derent senstvty settng from the

factory settng. An nternal senstvty settng has been placed under

the rubber handle cover. You can access ths settng by pullng back

the rubber and adjust the senstvty by a screwdrver usng a test

object of your choce. The senstvty wll ncrease as you turn the

settng clockwse and t wll decrease when turned counterclockwse.

► Please keep n mnd that when the senstvty s ncreased the

devce may get aected by the surroundng metals and receve nose.

Be sure to check that the senstvty s at the desred level by testng t

wth approprate targets each tme the nternal senstvty settng s

changed. It s recommended that only techncans should change ths

settng.
