
Sensitivity and Signal Level Indicator
► The red LEDs ndcate the devce's senstvty level as well as the
sgnal level when metal s detected n audo mode. You can adjust the
senstvty based on surroundng condtons and your preference
usng the up and down arrow keys. At maxmum senstvty, all red
LEDs wll lght up and at mnmum only a sngle LED wll llumnate.
► As mentoned above, when metal s detected n audo mode the
red LEDs wll provde vsual warnng by lghtng up accordng to the
strength of the sgnal receved from the metal.
Interference Elimination Button
► The devce s set for maxmum senstvty for the smallest objects.
Ths may cause the devce to produce sgnals when held close to a
oor wth metal constructon. You may enable the devce not to
respond to metals under the oor by pressng and holdng ths button.
When released, the devce wll go back to ts prevous senstvty level.

Internal Sensitivity Setting
► Some applcatons may requre derent senstvty settng from the
factory settng. An nternal senstvty settng has been placed under
the rubber handle cover. You can access ths settng by pullng back
the rubber and adjust the senstvty by a screwdrver usng a test
object of your choce. The senstvty wll ncrease as you turn the
settng clockwse and t wll decrease when turned counterclockwse.
► Please keep n mnd that when the senstvty s ncreased the
devce may get aected by the surroundng metals and receve nose.
Be sure to check that the senstvty s at the desred level by testng t
wth approprate targets each tme the nternal senstvty settng s
changed. It s recommended that only techncans should change ths
settng.
