Please note that sgnal audo boost should be used on a temporary or as-needed bass because t wll not only boost the target sgnal audo but
t wll also boost the loudness of ground nose and false sgnals. Therefore, t s recommended to keep the swtch at poston 1 and turn t to
poston 2 or 3 only when you want to verfy a weak metal sgnal and then turn t o agan.
SIGNAL AUDIO BOOST
The sgnal audo boost swtch boosts the sound of weak sgnals receved from small or deep metals makng t
easer for you to detect those uncertan targets.
At poston 1, the booster s o. At 2, the sgnal audo wll be hgher and at 3, t wll be heard at ts maxmum.
SIGNAL AUDIO
To avod mssng smaller and deeper targets, sweep the search col both from rght to left and left to rght over each area you are scannng,
slghtly overlappng the sweeps as you move forward.
When the devce detects metal, t wll produce an audble tone.
The devce has 3 tone audo dscrmnaton. The lower tone s for ferrous metals. For non-ferrous metals and gold, the devce produces 2 very
smlar hgh tones. In case of alloy detecton the devce may produce a hgh-low double-tone sound. In order to get famlar wth the
derent tones of your devce, t s recommended that you practce wth derent types of metals and dentfy the sounds before you use t
out n the feld.
NOTE: Dscrmnaton, just lke n any other metal detector, may not always be 100% accurate. There are many derent factors aectng
dscrmnaton accuracy. All metals based on ther conductvty, shape, orentaton underground, depth and ground mneralzaton are sensed
derently by a detector. Oxdzed metals bured under ground for a long tme such as tnplates and tns may produce gold lke sgnals.
Followng the experenced metal detector users' rule of thumb "when n doubt, dg" s the rght thng to do.
SEARCHING AND METAL DETECTION
After the settngs are adjusted, you can start searchng by lftng the search col 5cm. above
the ground and sweepng t rght and left, keepng t parallel to the ground.
The devce operates on the prncple of moton. Ths means that you must move the search
col over the target or the target over the search col, n order for the devce to see t. In other
words, metal detecton s not possble wthout movng the search col.
5cm
Coil cover use is optional. It protects the search
coil from scratches. If you want to use the cover,
attach the cover to the coil and press firmly on
the edges to secure.
Holding the metal pin pressed, insert the S-rod
into its place underneath the system box and
secure it by tightening the wingnut as shown in
the picture.
Again by holding the metal pin pressed, insert the
upper shaft into the S-rod and click the pin into its
hole. Then, secure it by tightening the twist lock.
Insert the extension shaft into the upper shaft
holding the metal pin pressed and adjust the
height by clicking the pin into one of the holes.
Then, secure it by tightening the twist lock again.
You may use the battery by attaching it to your
waistband as shown in the picture or to the side of
the system box using the optional battery case.
ASSEMBLY
Place the washers into the openings on both sides
at the end of the extension shaft. After placing the
shaft on the coil as shown in the picture, insert the
fastening screw through the hole and tighten it
using the wingnut.
Wrap the coil cable around the shaft all the way up
as shown in the picture and after inserting it in the
coil input socket underneath the system box,
secure it by twisting the connector. Pay attention
to not wrap the cable too tight during this step.
Plug the battery cable into the battery input socket
underneath the system box and tighten securely.
Assembly is completed.
